MS Dhoni turns coach as his cricket academy is set to launch an online platform for player coaching

The cricket academy of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is all set to launch its online platform on July 2 for player coaching. According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror daily Aarka Sports Pvt Ltd is backing the academy in its new foray into online coaching. When speaking with the daily an Aarka investor stated that their organization had already coached over 200 coaches and they are very keen on doing the same for aspiring players. Dhoni is the overall head of this project and with him being with other talented individuals in the panel of coaches will increase the quality and impact of the lessons.

Ever since this news was made public the response towards the project has been overwhelming in social media. The investors are also planning to take this service globally. During the launch event, Dhoni will be accompanied by former South African international player Daryl Cullinan who is the director of coaching for the academy’s online platform.

MS Dhoni currently resides in Jharkhand with his family. He was last seen representing India in the ICC World Cup tournament in 2019 and ever since he is been on sabbatical leave from all formats of the game. Dhoni was all set to make a comeback into the game by again leading CSK in this year’s IPL but the tournament was eventually postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
