India Vs England with the rest: India beat England by 157 runs to take a 2-1 series lead

India bowled out England for 210 to win the oval test by 151 runs and took a 2-1 series lead the five-match series. With just one game remaining, India cannot lose the series against England. India was potent enough to bowl out England without two of its senior pars Seamers Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami.

Cheering a target of 368, England was well-placed at 141/2. After lunch, left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja gave the breakthrough for India by dismissing Haseeb Hameed. Jadeja cleaned him up by disturbing the woods. Ravindra Jadeja and Pacer Jasprit Bumrah struck twice and collapsed England’s chase by picking up four wickets for just six runs in 36 balls.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a magnificent Yorker to dismiss Bairstow for a duck. Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to take to Test wickets after dismissing Ollie Pope. He has achieved this in 24 tests, one fewer than Kapil Dev.

England Skipper Joe Root remained at the crease as the only hope for his team. But Indian pacer Shardul Thakur got the wicket of Joe Root with his off-cutter. Trying to guide the ball to the third man region Joe Root dragged bark onto the stumps.

Umesh Yadav completed the proceedings by picking up three wickets with the second new ball. India has won two test matches in a single series on English soil after a long gap of 35 years; Rohit Sharma received the player of the match award for his century in the second innings.
