India vs England: “Long Live Test cricket while we have Virat Kohli,” Says Shane Warne

Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne has praised Virat Kohli, saying he has firmly established self-belief in his team. The spin legend hopes that the Indian skipper continues to play for a long time as it will be so good for Test cricket. Warne told that Virat Kohli has earned huge respect of the Indian squad and that is the only reason that all the players want to play for him.

Shane Warne added that it is very important for a captain that the team plays for him and follows his ideas. Warne said that Virat’s men look up to him and backs him well in hard situations. He added that belief is such an important thing in all sports and Virat Kohli has made his players to believe. If a team does not believe, it would not succeed even if it has first-class players.

Warne added that it is great to watch Kohli giving belief to his players to win the matches in all conditions. Warne ended by saying that test cricket will live long while Kohli plays for long years. Virat Kohli is India’s most successful captain in overseas matches. He has guided the team to 37 victories in 63 matches on foreign soil.

The Indian team led by Virat Kohli, recorded an emphatic 157-run win over England in the fourth test at the Oval to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the five-match series. The 5th test between India and England will start on 10th September at Old Trafford cricket ground.
