Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 13 runs. Apart from Shikhar Dhawan and captain Shreyas Iyer, Tushar Deshpande, who made his debut in India’s top cricket league from this match, also played an important role in this victory of Delhi. Tushar took 2 wickets for 37 runs. He dismissed Shreyas Gopal on the last ball of the match.

However, barring a 10-run win in Jaipur (based on the DLS method) on 11 April 2018, Rajasthan’s team has not been able to beat the Delhi Capitals even once in the last 2 years.
