CSK’s star bowler returns to training after testing negative for COVID-19.

The Chennai Super Kings are relieved ahead of the opening match of the 13th edition of the IPL against Mumbai Indians on September 19. The team’s star bowler Deepak Chahar’s third corona report has come back negative. Deepak Chahar also started practice with the team on Wednesday.

The team has shared the photos of Chahar practicing on the field in its official Twitter handle. According to close sources, the two players in the team who were infected with the corona have now tested negative.

CSK suffered a major setback a few days after their arrival in Dubai. At that time, both the players Deepak Chahar and Rituraj Gaikwad along with 13 other crew members tested positive for corona. Therefore, the quarantine period of the entire team was extended till September 4.

In addition, the CSK’s’ problems were exacerbated when two star players, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh withdrew from IPL 2020 citing to personal reasons. The team’s star batsman Suresh Raina returned to India with his family due to the increasing prevalence of corona.

So far, CSK has not demanded the replacement of Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina. The Recent statement of Raina has propelled the expectation that the southpaw may return to the team.

The inaugural match of IPL 2020 will be played between CSK and Mumbai Indians. Last year CSK showed its strong performance in the final. However, the title fell into the hands of Mumbai Indians.
