Cricketers hit out at people who burst fire crackers on Sunday at 9pm

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked the citizens of the country to light lamps or candles in unity to bring positivity amongst the nation on Sunday 5th April 2020. Famous personalities and sport’s stars had supported by tweeting the message on their page and requested India to join the campaign with a hashtag named #9minutes9pm to fight the disease coronavirus.

On 5th April at 9pm, people lit lamps or switched on their phone torches, or lighted candles in their personal space to show their solidarity in the health crisis, but a few individuals went ahead and lit crackers, which caused a ruckus in New Delhi. Noticing this some of the cricket stars took this to Twitter to discuss the commotion, beginning with current MP, Gautam Gambhir posted a tweet quoting “INDIA, STAY INSIDE! We are still in the middle of a fight. Not an occasion to burst crackers!”, and Harbhajan Singh also reacted on twitter that India would come up with a cure for corona, but doubtful to find one for stupidity meant the cricketer with angry emojis. 

Ravichandran Ashwin and Irfan Pathan also took their opinions to the twitter page, the bowler skeptically wondered about the crackers, and Pathan tweeted as “It was good until people started bursting crackers.” The World has 13 lakhs COVID-19 cases, and 74, 000 deaths for the disease, India recorded more than 4,000 cases and 114 deaths.
