After a thrilling cricket year, the Team Blue had stepped into 2020 with a fitted schedule. 2019 by far has been successful only with 17 loses of 52 matches.
List of players who are appearing for ODI and T20I series are revealed already. Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami will be away for Sri Lanka T20I series (January 5th to 10th 2020) for a much-needed break and Jasprit Bumarah team’s bowler is back after rehab to bowl against oppositions.
Then Team Blue will face their popular-competitor in the ODI from January 14th– 19th against Australia. The excluded players from Sri Lanka will join back for the play. India is then booked to perform against the New Zealand series.
India will begin touring a long tiring series upon New Zealand from January 24th to March 4th, 2020. Jan 24th – Feb 2nd T20I’s, 3 ODI series from Feb 5th to 11th and 2 Test series from February to March 2020 are played.
Then the International team players who were split to form VIVO Indian Premier League game will face their challengers on April-May days. 8 teams were formed to play the IPL 2020 batch nominated by their respective team owners. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is expected to lead CSK again.
These are the confirmed travel dates of the matches for the team India to tour until mid-season. Furthermore, the Team Blue will end their tour in January 2021, by facing Sri Lanka and Australia twice in the field.
