The Board of Cricket Council India has revealed the list players on 23^rd December 2019 for 3-match T20 and ODI series in January 2020.

For the 3-match T20 series which are to be played against Sri Lanka from January 5^th, 2020 Rohit Sharma earned his long-awaited break who has given 47 incredible matches this year. Instead, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja are (also in for ODI) added to the team.

The ODI Indian team will have the vice-captain back, Kedar Jadav, Mohammed Sami along with others. BCCI panel had shared India’s A squad team were Hardik Pandya and Mayank Agarwal names listed for the matches.

Bumrah’s return was wildly noted because of the four months rehab, to treat the mild stress on his back. The BCCI physio Nithin’s team conveyed that he is as strong as a mountain now and that he has excelled in his recovery. Thakur, the swing bowler has opted in the lists of T20 and ODI series based on the ODI’s with WestIndies.

Shikhar Dhawan who faced knee injury which involved stitches comes back after an interlude along with Sanju Samson who will be openers for 3-match T20 series. Though Deepak Chahar who is very unsettled will be out, due to his back injury until VIVO IPL 2020.

Prasad the chairman of BCCI confirmed KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan as openers to play against the Australian team for 14^th, January ODI 2020 series.
