The 3rd ODI that is to commence on 22nd December 2019 in Cuttak at Barabati Stadium decides the winner of the India Vs West Indies trio-series.
With the even wins scored by the teams, it is not going to be an easy match for them. To begin with WI cricketer Gayle takes a break from India Vs WI ODI series and India’s bowler Deepak Chahar was ruled out for the 3rd ODI 2019 squad due to the back injury.
The first ODI match between India and West Indies held in Chennai on 15th December. West Indies won the toss and they decided to field. Umpire’s indecision on Jadeja’s run out, poor batting from the best partnership; missed catches all added an edge to the West Indies won by 8 wickets. The man of the match was given to Shimron Hetmyer (139 from 106 balls) and Shai Hope century switched the game leading an easy win for WI.
The 2nd Innings took place at Visakhapatnam on 18th December. Sharma’s stand-off play (Man of the match) and KL Rahul century laid heavy pressure on WI bowlers. Kuldeep Yadav hat-trick pick in these OD internationals backed the Indian Team in topping the test series chart. Chahar by Saini and Mayank for Dhawan has been replaced in Indian team squad for 3rd ODI.
There is an equal chance to win by either of the teams. An entertaining match awaits the Indian crowd.
