Mohammed Siraj is confident of making a strong comeback with the red ball during the series-deciding fifth Test against England. The Indian pacer had a lacklustreIPL 2022 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he finished the season with just 9 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 10.08. Siraj also owned an unwanted record as he became the first bowler in the IPL history to concede 30 sixes in a season.
The 28-year-old seamer believes he will work hard in the next few weeks on his form and fitness to bowl consistently in the five-day game.With the T20 World Cup scheduled in Australia later this year, Siraj will be eying to perform well enough onBritish soil to get an opportunity in white-ball cricket too.
Siraj admitted that this year was a bad phase for him, but he will make a strong comeback by working hard on his abilities and strengths. The speedster stated that his preparations are going well for the Test. He further added that the Dukes ball is used in England, it is always good to bowl in those English conditions and it is helpful for the bowlers.
