Gambhir feels Mumbai Indians can trump a shaky CSK this season

The season opener will be played between CSK and Mumbai Indians (MI). Last year final was also played between these two teams and Chennai lost by one run. Both these teams are considered to be very successful in this league as fans believe this season will start with a very exciting match.

Gautam Gambhir believes that MI will have an upper hand in the match against Chennai. During a TV show, Gambhir said he wants to see two of the world’s fast bowlers in MI, Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult bowl together as it will be difficult to face both of them. He feels this will be a big challenge for CSK, especially when number three batsman Suresh Raina is not available.

Gambhir said his concern about the lack of players in CSK and that the team’s opener Shane Watson being away from cricket for a long time before coming back to Indian league. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how they will face Bolt and Bumrah. At the same time, it has to be seen who starts the innings with Shane.

Gautam Gambhir said Mumbai is very balanced and has depth. Trent Boult has been included in the team due to which his bowling will get stronger. He said that any captain wants his bowlers to take wickets with a new ball and Bumrah and Boult can do this job well in the team.
